Well, it has been a long while since I have posted, but my flytraps have been doing fairly well. The only main problem was that my little fungus gnat infestation ended up eating the roots of my smaller plantlets, so I only have one Red Pirhana left and one Dente plantlet. In the meantime, I bought what looks to be 2 or 3 Typicals in a cluster (which was sold as one plant for $8), and I have 3 fused tooth in transit from Steve (WOOHOO!)

First, my last surviving Red Pirhana (a lot of its soil got knocked out in a rainstorm):

What's that? It cloned itself!

Next is my mature Dente. It flowered AGAIN, but there was a severe heat wave at the time which caused the head of the flower to turn black. I cut it off and have planted it in hopes of getting clones, but I don't think it will happen:

No way, two nodes of growth?

*cough* errr.... make that three!

And finally, the Dente plantlet with my Typical(s) and questionable flower stem:

I got my order from Steve_D today! I saw the deal for 3 medium VFTs so I decided on fused tooth. As usual, they came in perfectly healthy and with plenty of instructions. The media is roughly 50/50 peat/perlite, but it looks heavy on the perlite only because some floated to the top with my initial top watering.

Thanks Steve!

Nice addition to your collection.
No one grows 'em like Steve!
