To the point, Does any one have any tips about sundews.
I need advice on the medium, and this "vitro" thing?? (sorry south africa sucks )
I have only used agar which is rare and quite expensive.

50% MS, 25g surcose/l, 1ml PPM/l, pH 5,6 works well. Drosera's roots without auxines. For multiplying 2-3 mg 6-BAP/l

Easiest is to start from seeds, sterylisation 5 min 5% bleach, very good rinse! [2x 10 min.]
Explants are quite tricky- best are young leaves, EtOH dip, 10 min 5% bleach bufferd to pH=~7 with KH2PO4 [more of NaOCl is in HOCl form, more free Cl2, and better sterylising properities] You can kill them very easy, then try shorter time.

Agar is quite cheap, and you use 8-10g for 1l of medium...
