My clipping of Fine Tooth x Red apparently ate last night....i came out to mist around all my clippings (i have a bunch of leaf clippings i am trying to start outside in a pot of peat, and i keep the humididty good and high, misting occasionally so there will be water around the top at all times) this morning and i noticed his mouth closed around a fly, lol. The clipping has stayed in really good shape since i got it a few days ago (buried about 1/2 inch or so of leaf in the wet peat) but now i am curious, will eating kill the poor fella or will it be fine?

Hah! That's funny. It should be fine. I'm amazed that you were able to get the pulling off without triggering the trap. I usually snip the traps off, so I've not seen this before.

Nealfor from here gave me the clipping, so i guess he was really careful. I gave it another look and i don't think it ate, i think the rain and some dust may have hit it just right and triggered it. it was kinda dark this morning when i first looked. Thanks man, much appreciated.
