Not the most exciting pitchers in the world, but they're pitchers.

I really like the pitchers in the top and bottom photos, @Bluefire. Will the ones in the last photo stay pale like that, or do they get more color? They are really pretty the way they are.

Bottom is N. graciliflora variegated. The color will stay as is, though the lip reddens over time. Top is N. jamban.

Newest pitcher just popped open on my N. Platychila x Veitchii hybrid. Decent size difference from its last pitcher. Also a very pretty peristome, too.ImageImage

Yooo, sick. The bical is looking amazing.
Thanks. I have had it since February 2020, it's my oldest lowlander. It needs a repot since its brittle pot is falling apart and roots are coming out the bottom. But it has been outdoing itself with every pitcher this spring. Maybe I'll finally invest in a heat mat so it doesn't pout all winter.

Yours isn't looking half bad. If you keep it warm, it will grow very fast! Mine looked like yours about a year after I got it. And it started as a 4 inch baby with paper thin leaves and pitchers less than an inch tall.

So I’m truly and 100% new at this but I got a Nep on eBay after seeing a few recommended and then scrolling through them for almost a whole day. I really wanted to get a slightly bigger one because this is also the first plant I’ve had that was so small. I hope I’m doing ok with it.

The seller lists it as Veitchi x Platychila x Bareo squat, but when it came it looks like it’s actually Veitchi Platychila x Veitchi Bareo Squat which seems like it would be a different thing altogether?

Anyhoo the day I got it -

I think the pinking up of the leaves is a good sign. For now I just have it under a humidity dome, and I’m trying to acclimate it to a little sunlight and fresh air during daytime. At night the humidity dome or when it’s off it gets spritzed a bunch. Tried to buy an actual mister, didn’t work out yet.

I’m not sure when I’m gonna be able to feel like I’m not gonna break it. I just love the candy striped ones and the one with the little squat pitchers.

I mean I found a lot of them that I love lol, but it’s probably a bit more expensive than I can afford unless I can actually baby the babies into healthy adolescents :D
