You may have a problem there. I think that if part of the bug is sticking out of the trap it can't seal good and ends up rotting. That's why bugs or fish food roughly 1/4 the size of the trap are/is usually recommended when hand feeding. Not to say that will happen here, but... :?

I am aware and saw that wings are sticking out. They are outside and captured these on their own. Just have to let them do their thing.

i’m still relatively new to this but i figured this was ok if outdoors because it will attract more bugs to it? what’s the fear here with leaving it, possible fungus?

still learning don’t mind me! :D

Attract more bugs to what?....a rotted leaf? If you don't care if the leaf has a very good chance of rotting then leave it.

I wouldn’t worry about this either. What will happen will happen. No use worrying about it. Is unfortunate though, in that first picture at least, it appears that the trap caught a lace wing — a beneficial predator.

Myself, I see it more along the lines of "Circle of life". They may be beneficial, but it appears he strayed too far from his normal feeding grounds. You said it correctly, "what will happen will happen".
