Let's talk about plants that kill for sport. Plants that use deadly force in the name of self-defense, or plants that murder for fun. Carnivorous plants are the Jeffrey Dahmers of the plant world; now let's see some Jack the Ripper.

If you grow any murder-plants, let's see them!

As an incentive, I have the following murderous seeds to share:
Papaver somniferum
Nicotiana tabacum
Ricinus communus

I used to have Nicotiana tabacum with sticky hairs on the stems full of dead bugs. It had nice-looking flowers.

Giant hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum). It can cause painful burns and permanent scarring. Brushing against or breaking the plant releases sap that, combined with sunlight and moisture, can cause a severe burn within 24 to 48 hours.
