Why would you make a thread and not even say it.
I used to take a container with another container inside put tap water inside and saran wrap on top and than use a marble to have the condensation drip in the smaller container. But you probably did this or on the stove somehow.
Pretty random though

What is your method Mike?

If it is boiling the water, this is not water you should be using for your plants. The dissolved solids in the water (calcium and other minerals) are what causes harm to the plants, not any of the micro organisms you might kill by boiling the water.

If anything, boiling the water concentrates the minerals and makes the water worse for your plants.

HA ha, that's how I make my distilled water as well--A quick trip to Wal-Mart for a $1.25 per gallon.
I also collect and save rain water using the old jugs.
Peace!

You could boil water and collect the condensation. Or use the drops of water from your freezer. ;p
