I completely forgot to rehydrate a bug before feeding it to my VFT.
I just got new ones yesterday and I was very excited to feed them and care for them. At the moment, I don't have any live bugs, and I can't go buy any since I don't have a car of my own quite yet (I'm still living with my family-)
They chomped on the bug pieces pretty well (I had to cut up a dead bug because it was about as big as the traps themselves, and they're new and still pretty small) and closed all the way.
I rehydrated all the bug pieces except for one, so one of my traps just has a dead dry bug in it. ^^'
