the insects just get stuck and the leaf either wraps around it or enzymes break them down

each leaf has little tentacles with sweet but very sticky nectar/dew that attract insects. The inssects get stuck, the more they move, the tighter the tentacles stick/wrap around them and they eventually suffocated and then get digested. :D

The tentacles secrete a mucus that contains enzymes. Once an insect lands on this mucus the tentacles fold in on the insect covering it. This suffocates the prey and it is eventually broken down and the nutrients absorbed.
