Hello all,

I would like some feedback on my Butterwort. Any is appreciated including the exact type if possible.

I have it in my North Windowsill because that is about the best window I have in the house. Thoughts?
Soil is roughly 1 part Peatmoss 2 part Perilite. I have it in a dish of water because I hear it is best for it
to draw the water up and not pour it directly on the butterwort. Also, mine doesn't seem to get its sticky
substance on the leaves. What am I doing wrong? I really like this plant and want it to thrive. It did come
from a "Death Cube" but looks like it initially did pretty much.

I also can set it up this way if anyone thinks it will help.

Thanks everyone!

Soils good.. since it was recently rescued It won't start producing the "Sticky" stuff until it's in ideal conditions. First of all, their really is no need to cover it up so it would get humidity. From letting it in standing water, it might get root rot, butterworts like it kinda drier than flytraps. Water only when you notice the soil drying out. If you can't get good light use Art, lighting. Either a CFL or TFL that has a color temp of 6500K.
