A meteoroid had strike the planet, and the robot was thinking that it was good idea to catch it in a force field, thus decreasing its descent speed.
He begun to cultivate the plants in this new found alien world.
The plants from gemmae surprisingly where starting to grow after the small meteor striked, and maybe it is the carrier and live giver.
