I bought this little plant at a local store. It was $10 and it finally produced a pitcher. I don’t think it resembles my Ventrata. The leaves are a dark red, the pitchers have those filament hairs… plus it’s a fair amount redder.

I would not say lady luck. I would say nepenthes Rebecca Soper. A big deep peristome would be a giveaway for Lady luck. The ampullaria heritage comes through very well and lady luck tends not to blush easily. Rebecca soper also has a mid waist taper whereas Lady luck is straight top to bottom when they are closer to matu

Thanks, don’t you think that if it were an out of the norm variety the grower would’ve shipped it with an ID tag? I would assume so.

Rebecca Soper isn't too unusual. Not as common a ventrata but not uncommon.
