I just got some flytrap seeds from the seed bank, and while researching how to grow them I keep getting conflicting info about stratification. Do they need it?

No they don’t. You can even plant them right after harvest! While fresh they will sprout quickly too. Mine sprouted at about 10 days only!

No cold stratification, but I recommend soaking them in low-mineral water for 4-5 days before sowing them. This lets the seeds rehydrate and should improve your germination rate.

They do not need to be stratified. In the lower right of this photo, you can see a VFT seedling growing along with these adult VFTs and Drosera Intermedia. My seeds were harvested in July.
