I have two Darlingtonia seedlings that I started about 18 months ago. While they have mature looking pitchers, the pitchers are only about 3/4 of an inch high. I have been (irregularly) feeding them with weak Maxsea. What size would you expect for an 18 month old Darlingtonia seedling?

It entirely depends on conditions, feeding, and genetics. Here are a bunch of plants, mostly two or three years old from seed. In the second photo, the larger plant is slightly under two years old, while the smaller one is around three years old (both SG). The difference? The ~2 YO plant has been fed on a regular basis with 1.5 tsp Maxsea and Nutricote, while the ~3 YO plant has received very little to no additional fertilizer.

They are notoriously slow growers from seed without feeding, i have plants 5 YO and more that have sat outside and have pitchers that are probably 4-5" high. Once they get to that sort of size they seem to get going, probably because they start catching larger prey.
