So this is going to be the start of a review of carnivorous plant nursery. since there aren’t all that many I thought I’d share my experience. As some already know I took the liberty of significantly expanding my collection with tax money because what better way to spend it right? For several days I looked at various online sources and suppliers and landed on carnivorous plant nursery because they had a very good selection of plants at decent prices and the plants themselves were actually in stock. So before I purchased I looked for reviews to see what I was getting myself into and I didn’t find a whole lot. The very few reviews were mixed but mostly positive. The negative reviews mainly pertaining to lack of package tracking/seller contact and smaller than desired plant size, both things I can live with as long as I get the plants I ordered in healthy condition. So given they had the plants I wanted and there is no reward without risk I made my order. My order consists of: 1x drosera spatulata, 1x drosera capensis, 2x drosera intermedia, 2x drosera capillaris, 2x medium king Henry, 2x medium akai ryu, 2x medium dente, 3x small serracenia flava, 1x medium serracenia x farnhamii, 1x medium serracenia x bug bat, 1x medium potted Cephalotus follicularis, 1x small early butterwort. One thing I noted when making my order is the size of all the drosera are not specified but I’m guessing pretty small based on the prices, one example $5.95USD for a drosera capensis. I completed my order on Tuesday night 3/19/19 and promptly received my order confirmation. (I was then made aware after payment that the owner operator only ships on Monday and Tuesday.) EDIT: I was wrong in saying it’s not stated prior I just didn’t see it. I’ll admit I’m not the most patient person in the world. As of Today, 3/22/19 I have received no email confirming my order has shipped. Anyone with experience with this seller please chime in with any experiences. I will keep you all updated, and when my plants arrive I’ll be sure and get lots of pictures.
