New species discovered in Mozambique. In the mint family, now your gum flavor can bite you back.
Definitely proto-carnivorous, traps bugs. It's being studied to see if it has the ability to secrete the enzymes to digest them as well.

That is quite unique. I have never seen a CP with the flower on the same stem and just barely above its trapping mechanism, unless I am not seeing that correctly.
