Thanks for posting these growing methods, WaSundew.

I was trying to grow some of this stuff and always ended up burning the tip and stunting the growth. But I decided to put my moss into some Chinese take-out containers with clear lids, so to provide diffuse light, large surface areas and high humidity. They've gone crazy with growth!

Not sure what I'll do with it all, maybe separate some out and put it in my mini-windowsill bog along with the seeds I've put in there. But the info is much appreciated!

It's possible for UV light to damage spores in general. It really depends on intensity of the spectrum and the exposure time
