I am at the point where I need to trim, divide, and repot my Sarrs. What is your proven method to get rid of any mealybugs that are messing around at the base of the plants ? Should I mix up some Bayer 3 in 1 and put them in plastic bags for 24 hours to. soak ?

My purp is also infected with mealy bugs and they do some damage but nothing serious. I don’t mind them much, I just hand kill them to keep their population controlled. But they recommend me pyrethrin to kill them.

My rosea was just about killed by mealy bugs. What worked for me was cleaning all of the soil off and spraying it down with 3-in-1.

I’m gonna get some orthene 97 on them and also, I have to repot soon. The Hydrofarm white containers are all brittle after 2+ years in the Florida sun.
