Are these ping strikes ready to be potted? I don’t really see roots yet and the mother leaves are still going, should I wait for roots and browning mother leaves?

Yes, they're ready. If you wait while they're on that paper, the roots will likely grow into the paper and get damaged when you try to remove them to repot.
When I pull Ping leaves, I put them in/on the growing media. Then, if they strike, I don't have to worry about moving them, they'll simply grow where they are.

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is that I make bad decisions.

They are ready to be repotted.

for my part no problem with the paper, I repot them with in the appropriate substrate
