they both will do. but i would stick with using both :) however, the 6500 will be more gentle to your plants :)

well, 6500k would do better i think since the sun color temperature is 6500k too, at this color, it has a particular color spectrum and this is the one the plants need

It really wouldnt make a difference which you used. Just make sure the lux output(lumens) are the best

As far as lighting is concerned, definitely need to a HIGH OUTPUT, as far as lumens/lux's concerned. I just upgraded from a 4 tube t5 to an 8 tube. The distance of 1 foot with the 4 tube was about 5000 luxs. After installing the 8 tube, I now get aprox 17000 lux. Im pretty excited!
