Question in title ^ From what I've seen they look nothing like the "Typical" versions but want to confirm.

The arms look too wide to be Capillaris? And aren't the pads supposed to be more round on Caps as well? There could be a misidentification and possibly a new Carolina species? I have some seed pics too and they look nothing like regular Capillaris seed.

I contacted the Ebay seller that I got my seeds from. He was (or is) a member here and got them from the FTC seed bank. I did some searching and found a couple of conversations (one from 2016) about the very features that you're talking about. At that time, the consensus was that was the way capillaris Boiling Springs looks and it was left at that.
