That doesn't go along with "OCD-Me"'s project planning!

But, in consideration of using the sphagnum for the wick...I searched out wicking cloth yesterday while in Montgomery. I looked very professional walking through the fabric aisles with a deer-in-the-headlights look. ;) I ended up with two fabrics that I'm going to try. I found a very gaudy 85%-polyester/15%-wool blend on a clearance table at Hobby Lobby...and had an interesting conversation with the lady cutting it about carnivorous plants (she even took notes!!!! :D ). At Joann's I found needle punched, 100% polypropylene outdoor "decor" fabric...it was s little more pricey than the clearance cloth at HL so I just got a generous 1/2 yard of it. We'll see how these work, though it will be a while before I setup more containers...I've got some garden clearing still underway...a fallow garden is a great growing medium for dog fennel!!!

In relation with a bigger area, if we can add a second chamber under the sphagnum moss. If Intheswamp will cut the plastic container, but not the whole surface, it will sit on another plastic container which will have a air pump.

Be patient with me. :) I’ve got three questions.
What is the second chamber for?
Where is the container cut and what’s the purpose of cutting it?
What purpose does the aquarium pump serve?

Thanks!
