Hello!

I'm wondering how one can tell if they've successfully eradicated spider mites. I ask because I still see mite "dust" on some newer growth, but I don't know if that's something which would linger behind even after they're gone since it's their waste and not the mites themselves. I usually like using the cotton swab method to check but the new growth is tiny and delicate, so I don't want to risk harming the plant (again :? ).
