Would fungicide be a good way to stop mold from developing on my pots during dormancy and in my seedling pots? I've tried alcohol on pots with seedlings, but it doesn't always do a good job. Hydrogen peroxide seems to prevent mold, but I don't know if it gets rid of it.

See if this link works. It’s for Bayer BioAdvanced 3-In-1 Insect, Disease and Mite Control. It seems lots of people use this.

From what I've read, molds are in the fungi family. Can you get some pictures of the offending growth? I understand that springtails have an appetite for both mold and mildew.

I stand corrected. Fungicide should kill mold. In that case I would try the Bioadvanced 3-in-1. It is know to be tolerated well by CP although Drosera will pout for a month after being sprayed.

Panman, do you know if the problem with sundews pouting is caused when they're directly sprayed or when their soil is sprayed? I was just wondering if using something like and index card held in place to shield the plant from having the spray hit it might help. Or, possibly even a small amount of diluted mix of the 3-in-1 poured over the surface? I have no idea as I've never used it (but will if I need to, thus my questions! ;) ). Thanks!

Once again, I'm going to suggest trying a cinnamon spray. http://www.flytrapcare.com/phpBB3/post3 ... ml#p371851
