Yes!. 30 gallons captured overnight. Thats all I can capture.

Btw, if you have somewhere to put it, a 32-gallon plastic garbage can would double your storage capacity. I usually catch in 5-gallon buckets and transfer to garbage cans or milk jugs. Sometimes I use a large plastic ice cooler to catch in...roughly around 12 gallons in it. Depends on how many plants you have and how far apart your usual rains are as to how much you need to store, though. So, 30 gallons might be "good"! :D

A little kids' wading pool works well, too. It has a wide surface area so it collects more rain. You can always scoop the water out of the pool and store it in 5-gallon buckets.

I agree, Mike. The pools catch pretty good even while not being under a drip line...and you don't get the debris off the roof. ;)
