Wistuba maybe?

Don't get too excited. I'm posting just to see if there is any interest? Wistuba.com has mostly rare nepenthes and heliamphora. It's very expensive to ship. 80 euros is over $100. Plus there are other fees and charges. But as a group we split these costs making it much more affordable. I am willing to consider it if there are enough people to make it worth my time and effort. But the big one is no slacking on paying. If I say pay me now. Then that's what I mean. No excuses no nothing :D. So anyway let's test the waters with anyone that is seriously interested

Wistuba changed shipping charges big time with the new website, so it now seems to be more related to the actual quantity of plants ordered rather than a flat fee, since he has started using a shipping broker now (good news- plants arrive in much better condition!). Still, this makes group orders a lot less efficient, especially considering the extra cost of domestic shipment from the host to the participants as well as the extra time for plants in transit.

Yes I know 80€ PER ORDER. AND OTHER FEES. NO ADD ONS. And he just updated and I can't get anymore on previous order. That's why I'm asking here. :D. But I doubt there will be enough people. So it's just a feeler post Noah.

I may be interested. I need to check out what they have that might interest me.

...nevermind...
orders from non-EU countries currently have a delivery time of 3-4 months.

I may be interested. They just did a big restock and I've really got my eye on their N. inermis, lowii, and hamata.

Wasn't interested before but seeing the helis restocked has my attention. I'd be down for it depending how much shipping would end up being.

This probably isn't going to happen. The people here have no idea how much more expensive it is besides the cost of plants

Shame (except for my bank account). Back to watching FB and Florae auctions I go.

Right....... :( Florae just had an inermis go for $180 and AW has them for $43.97.

In the same vein, I was watching several helis up until the last few minutes when what'd be probably a $50 wistuba plant started getting bid up past the 60s at which point I just closed the page. Or the D. ultramafica which last I saw was over $50. And for an extreme example, a few months ago I watched a juvenile pitcher H. minor Burgundy-Black, nearly identical to one I paid $40 for ($55 from wistuba), go for over $220. I'm just having to hope I can catch something like the $40ish neblinae Mysterious Giant or $20 purpurascens I missed last fall, but I'm afraid they may be too popular now for that to happen again.

Yeah, I was really watching that parva for a bit, but I completely forgot about the auction until it was over. There were some medium sized, seed grown N. lowii that only went for about $100. I wish I had placed a bid on that.

There's at least 1 highlander available there now (don't remember which one/s.)
Also, RE: the comment "no add-ons": not sure exactly what you meant by this... but if you add a plant or plants to an existing order, the shipping cost is automatically discounted (you don't have to pay the initial shipping cost again). --pt
