Not sure if this happened to the rest of the world, but for most of summer it was CONSTANTLY 95+ degrees. It was sooo awful.

Yeah it was that hot here too, but we're used to it. In fact, when the temperature drops below 90 I sometimes don't go swimming because I think that it's not warm enough for me.

Yeah, if the pool water and air temp is below 85 it's too cold.

I love snow. Sledding, skiing, snowball fights, fort building, snowmen, igloos, and whatever else you can think of. Can’t wait for some snow here. Have fun and enjoy the snow!

Yes, very fun but it's here for so long in WI. I would be much happier if we had it for 2-3 months instead of 6.

Worst time of year when all the fall colors are gone and it's to warm for snow. Just coldness and lots of rain and clouds. bleh

What's worse is when the conditions are just right for snow and there is not a single cloud in the sky. Then, when the snow comes, the temperatures suddenly go up and the snow either melts the next day or turns to slush. I wouldn't mind having snow during the whole winter. These past few years we haven't gotten much snow. Most of the time it's just naked trees, clear skies, and cold air.

We have gotten some good snow but it isn't enough for skiing or anything. Although we should get about a foot on Friday so that'll be nice. Do you just keep your sarrs outside year round?

Edit: Can anyone tell me if my S. purp purp will be ok? It's pot froze solid yesterday. It slipped from my hands and crushed a soda can too lol

This cold system is really interesting, we've got forecast temperatures in the teens for three or four nights in a row. I honestly don't ever recall this happening down here. Maybe it did and I wasn't paying attention, but I don't think so. The plumbers will be busy afterwards. For us, thankfully its hitting just before we have to be gone for several days and not hitting while we're gone. My plants are just going have to deal with a chill in the trailer, hopefully I'll be able to keep them warm enough there without having to run the central unit 24/7. I usually run the heating system down around 40F just to keep pipes from freezing. Rather than jack the temperature up over the entire trailer I think I'll use a small electric heater in the room to elevate the temperature in there and the rest of the trailer can just stay above freezing with a low thermostat setting. I know ya'll regularly deal with much lower temperatures that what we're looking at but down here this will be an unusual cold spell that people simply aren't geared up for.
