Ok, I snagged a few milkshake lids yesterday. Here's what I'm talking about.
I got the one on the cup (I'm a sucker for a chocolate milkshake) and the nice guy at the drive-thru gave me three extra.
I figure these will create a nice humid micro-climate above the surface but yet allow a free exchange of air above.

While I can't say I've had stellar success with seeds from the bank, it makes for a pleasant surprise when some seeds do sprout. My successes haven't been many, but I have had a few here and there....

Nothing terribly difficult. Sowed the seeds in the summer and left the "pot" sitting in full sun. Kept the media wet. Sowed a similar container with D. ordensis seeds -- another petiolaris complex member -- the exact same time and conditions (both containers sat next to each other in the same tray), but, alas, didn't get a single seedling.

I myself am on a quest to germinate as many Sars and Drosera seeds as I can over the winter so I can introduce them to my (filled up but not yet complete) pond setup so they can get growing before I retire.

So, just out of curiosity, how do you plan to keep the weeds under control? Daily weeding? Ugh.

What weeds? For now everything is in a greenhouse.
