My growth point on my sanguinea is for some reason white. Maybe it's too much fertilizer?

I've noticed this with my Truncata, Hamata, & Lvb x Vmv; does this with new tendrils. Usually right after the leaf pops, takes a little while for the tendril to color up.

I get it on leonardoi as well, and undulatifolia, and more I'm sure but I'm used to it so I don't really bother checking.
