If you could create your dream plant what would it be? For me it would be a cross of my wide leaf x all red capensis
I'm picturing a plant that's really wide and dark burgundy. Think Hercules only super red. Similar to this plant of mine only more purple :D

I don't have it yet either that's why it's still a dream plant that could be worthy of cultivar status. It takes years to grow something out that just might be recognized. Need patience for sure. I ordered seeds of Hercules x big pink. And big pink x Hercules so I am praying one little seed makes my dream plant.
BTW. Big Pink is all red and albino capensis cross so matched with wide like Hercules I am hopeful :D

My luck I would get a wide leaf albino  but I would call it "ghost."

Yeah, maybe I'll need to order some seed too! Where did you get the seed from?

How obvious. They have never flowered at the same time
Try storing some pollen in the fridge.

Oh, I didn't know you needed fancy stuff. I've always heard you can just stuff it in the fridge for a while and then your good for about a year.

I tried that saving pollen. I don't have time to be the bee. It's tedious work to pollinated certain flowers. Praying those crosses will produce something I want. Pray with me :D
