I'm eventually going to thin my herd of plants, get rid of many that might be uncomfortable or more labor intensive when we move to a new place in a few years. But for now I just need to maintain some populations. As such, I have two Utrics that need to be whittled down a touch.
I have two slugs of U. sandersonii "Blue" and two slugs of U. longifolia that can go to new homes.
I got the sandersonii a couple of years ago from Shadowtski, and it has been a steady grower. Not fast, but consistent, and giving me nice angry bunny flowers every year. Each slug will come with some live sphagnum moss, only because I don't want to take the time to separate it out.
I got the longifolia a few months ago from Hollyhock as a small plug, and it has already sent roots eight inches out the bottom looking for more territory to invade. I don't know what she does to her plants, but, DANG!!!
Standard format for the sandersonii:
1. Me
2. You
3. NO THREE! If you choose three, NO SOUP FOR YOU!
4. A dog named Boo
Standard-ish format for the longifolia:
A. Tisket
B. Tasket
C. I'll allow C because it's not three.
D. A flower making basket
Two winners for each species.
You can enter both.
Bare root.
Winner pays shipping of $10 via PayPal Friends and Family.
US addresses only unfortunately as they are live.
Drawing in about a week.
Aaaaand go!

P.S. In an effort to maintain other populations, winners will also receive an extra somethin'-somethin'. We'll discuss what that may be after the drawing.

I thought utricularia don't have roots.

Terrestrial forms do (like longifolia and sandersonii), but most (or all) in the US are aquatic and just float in the water.

Well, when you figure it out, let me know. Because these roots don't look like stems or stolons to me.
