I'm no expert, but I do have a single vanda that's really easy to care for.

I have mine in a wooden hanging basket that's hung from the branches of a shade tree. I water it from time to time when it isn't getting water from the sprinklers or rain, and that's about it.
I guess it really depends on where you live though (I'm in Florida). They do like warmer temperatures and higher humidity than your more common orchid types though.
Unless humidity is high, they like to be watered daily, sometimes even twice daily.
They like higher light and can take a bit of direct sun.

This is basically it from my point of view, but I'm hoping an expert hops in on this to give you their advice.

First and foremost ... WHERE are you going to be growing it? Outside yearround? Indoors? In a greenhouse?

She get 5-6 hours of dappled sunlight from the white oak trees draping over the house and when it rains she get heavy water flow from the water spout

Also none of the root tips appear to be active is that bad they turn green when watered and they have a small portion that is growing but only a few actively growing roots how do I encourage more to grow
