Hey everybody
I’ve had this flytrap for about 2 years now and I’ve never gotten it to show its characteristic trait.
It’s a “classic art” flytrap. This cultivar is known for having a deep red outline along the teeth of the trap, resembling lipstick.
Below I’ve attached a photo of what it’s supposed to look like
Second I’ve attached a photo of mine.
I know light levels have A LOT to do with color expression but I have bohemian garnets in the exact same spot and they’re all blood red so I don’t think lack of light is a factor here. Anyone have any theories?
