Hi everyone,
I've just got my VFTss (appended photo), and I'm wondering if I should repot them to a bigger pot, so the roots would have more place to grow. If yes, what should I pay attention to? or should I wait a little bit, give them a little bit time to adapt to the new environment before repotting them?

Any actions done to a light starved flytrap re potting, feeding, ect will just use more energy it will not replace and hasten its end. I re pot mine in the winter when they are dormant. I like a 10inch+ deep pot. This is that large pot i posted a photo of in you other post un potted.

Check out the big rhizomes, the plants build and store energy all summer as sugar to use in dormancy and fast regrowth in the spring.

Do you think, I should wait until the winter and re pot when they are dormant as well? I hope it wouldn't be too late to re pot, I don't know how fast their roots grow.

I would wait until winter, when the flytraps are dormant, then repot them.

Hey out of curiosity where do you get those pots? I would love to have a couple next year for my different types of VFTs. It would be so much easier than single or squeezing a couple in the 5 1/2” deep pots I have.
