Hi everyone!

How long does venus fly trap seeds take to germinate? Mine have been sown for two months and there is no sign of germination. Its warm here.

I've only grown a few batches of flytrap seeds but I've never had any that took that long to germinate, though I suppose it could take that long. Maybe give them two or three more weeks.

Btw, you only sprinkled the seeds on top of the grow-mix didn't you? Not dropped into tiny holes? Nothing sprinkled over them or covering them? Correct?

I buried my seeds and they germinated fine so i guess it depends how much dirt you put over them

Yes I sprinkled them on the top. Perhaps I need to be patient.

If they're not showing green in two or three more weeks I'd say they're not gonna show. But, if you've got the room and don't need the pot for anything let them go on for three or four months. You never know!
