"Look at this stuff, isn't it neat? Wouldn't ya' think my collection's complete?" What, you’re not into Disney princesses? Fine, but this month we’re looking at collections. "Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head." What, no Lion King either? Haters. Seriously though, we want to see your collection, regardless of the size. It may be one plant or one thousand plants, it doesn’t matter. Because it may be impossible to fit your collection into one photograph, this contest will allow you to submit up to 4 photos. In addition, those photos may be collages.

When I told @Matt that this month’s theme was collections he said, “Well, maybe since the theme is "collection" … we could do a little mini-collection of FTS Venus flytraps.” That’s right, this month’s prize is a mini collection of 3 Flytrapstore.com cultivars: FTS Deep Red Guerrilla, FTS Crimson Sawtooth, and FTS Maroon Monster!

This prize was so exciting, even Leah commented on it, "FTS Crimson Sawtooth is one of my favorites and according to many people's opinions, even Jeremiah Harris', it is the best red sawtooth flytrap clone out there!" Normally, I include the description of the plants, but this month you’ll need to click on the names above to see the details.

As always, thank you to @Matt and Leah for providing this month's awesome prize.

So here are the rules:
1. They must be your own pictures.
2. You can submit up to 4 photos for this contest.
3. Pictures shared in previous contests are not eligible.
4. Minimally edited photos only. No effects, or filters. Cropping is okay and you can put them in a collage photo.
5. The winner will be the entry with the highest number of thumbs UP (likes) votes.
6. Only votes from members with at least 5 posts will count.
7. This contest is open internationally, although there will be an alternate prizes for international winners.

So, let’s see your collection! Big or small, we want to see them all!

Not the best photos, but I wanted to get some of my pups in there 😊 My husband jokes and calls me a puppy and flytrap hoarder. I couldn’t take better pictures because we rescued an adorable and insane 8 week old puppy last month. Not my entire collection, but there’s really no time to do anything anymore, lol.

As you can see, I have a Nepenthes problem.
More pressing, perhaps, is my inability to work with technology - it took me forever to figure out how to do collages, and they still aren't so good.

I didn't call it that because I didn't want to sound snooty. What I have is a bunch of tiny plants in 2.5 inch pots living in plastic storage bins. A glorified seedling tray. One day, they'll be bigger and I'll have more professional conditions. But I tend to think of "collections" as the sorts of things you'd see at botanical gardens, or under professional growers' care. Bigger, more mature specimens. Maybe it's just imposter syndrome. Plenty of people here have far more impressive plants than I do. I have only one Nepenthes that has ever bloomed.
