During the Great Depression, a Brooklyn baker was decorating the morning bagels when he noticed that quite a few toppings had dropped on the floor. A smattering of sesame here, some poppy seeds there, and maybe there were some mouse droppings but can anyone really tell the difference between that and a caraway seed?

This being the Great Depression, and the baker being a Brooklyn stereotype, he couldn't possibly let the topping seeds go to waste. So he swept them into a pile, rolled a doughball through the mix, and Voila! The Everything Bagel was born.

@ChefDean that's what I want for my April bonus please and thank you

Mouse droppings it is! Maybe I can find some 'Possum scat to mix it up a bit.
