So I had a bit of a surprise just now when I went out to check my sarrs.

Guessing this must've been triggered by the 2 weeks it spent in a box while it was in transit, though no dice so far on any of the other flowering-sized plants that came with it. Either way, looks like I should have some jonesii seeds for the bank much sooner than expected - probably sometime around January, if I manage to self it right.

Maybe.
If our weather does what it did last year, you may have a chance at getting ripe seeds.
But if it decides to freeze in October or November, that might kill the growing seeds. Maybe bring them inside before it gets cold and put them to sleep later.

Yeah, I was going to keep an close eye on them when it started cooling down. Last winter I moved everything up against the house and elevated 6-7 feet off the ground on the porch where it was warmer and nothing seemed to get frozen too hard at any point, so I think it should stand a decent chance at least. If not, no harm done though. With all the growth points that thing has there should be plenty of flowers to go around next spring.
