So I recently received a bunch of live sphagnum moss, water it and left it outside, i noticed some tiny red sphere attached to it, its not just one or two but quite a lot and spread across the media, what is it?

Edit: is... is that a snail?

I'm a newbie, but... I think that is what creates the moss spores...looks like healthy moss! :D

Oh wow i was pretty convinced those are snails but thanks for the info, im relieved now, i have no exp with live ones so im quiet jittery as i am preparing those moss for repotting soon. :D
