Actually two batches. The first was a few months ago. Most recently was last month. In both cases I water germinated them. Once they sprouted I transfer them to peat/sand/perlite topped with chopped sphagnum.

I wonder if there is an easy way to take this discussion to an easier to track format? Right now we have to read through multiple pages of this thread. Do you think we could have a forum similar to the rating of experience with sellers, where we could have a seed name as the topic of a post, and then folks reply to their success / failures with that particular seed only?
Hate to make extra work for the admins, but I think it would work best, especially for folks looking for or sharing info on a particular seed type.

I like the format of your first post a lot (list of successes, list of failures, seed date). Maybe it would be helpful to have just one master list like that.

I also have an idea for this, why don't we make the master topic/post locked (like the Seedbank) and in order to add onto the master post, you have to reply via this public topic. That way, whoever writes the master post (maybe "Seed Germination List") will always have a reference here.
I'm thinking that we'll need to write down when the seeds were germinated (if they germinated), the germination rates, and if they failed, the time when they failed (the time when you decided to give up on them).
To improve the accuracy of the germination rates, maybe let some of the plants grow a bit efore saying "I got 2 sprouts and that was all".
I think that's it for my idea, it's just a suggestion and you don't have to use it.

Not sure if you can see, but here's the proof.

Since it was reported earlier in this thread that spat "Tamlin" didn't germinate, I'll add that I just saw my first sprouts with carnivorous leaves of both it and Emerald's Envy today after just shy of 4 weeks since sowing. I haven't been looking super closely and could have missed them earlier since they're under blurple yescoms, but I can at least confirm germination on both now in some capacity.

Some of my sprouts from the seed bank seeds:
D. intermedia "Stump Sound, Pender Co. NC" - single sprout
D. spatulata "Gold Coast" - ~15 sprouts
D. spatulata "Beenak Vic, Aus" - lots of sprouts
D. burmannii "Green Plant, Pink Flower" - 1-2 sprouts
D. capensis "Montagu Pass" - ~20 sprouts
D. rotundifolia "Meadowview Biological Station" - ~10 sprouts
D. brevifolia "Warren, Tx" - 3 sprouts
D. capillaris "Hastings, FL" - 2 sprouts
Vft from bonus
D. spatulata "Pink Okinawa"

Have not sprouted:
the N. ventricosa seeds
D. intermedia "NJ Pine Barrens"
D. burmannii "Humpty Doo"

I started to doubt that spat tamlin seeds were going to go after waiting about a month and nothing even after I water germinated them for over a week. So I thought maybe I’ll dump the whole pack and I’m bound to get one lol we’ll they all seem to be sprouting now.

I've got Byblis liniflora sprouts. I hit them with some ~1000 ppm GA3 solution which had already been used on some other seeds.

My experiences:

• Drosera hartmeyerorum, 6/10/17, no germination (not an indication of seed quality, I've never been able to germinate this species from any source)
• Byblis liniflora, 6/27/17, no germination (again, strange issue for me, I seem to be the only person in the world who can't get this species to germinate without GA3)
• Drosera lunata, 2/3/18, sown both spring and fall, germination in 2-4 weeks. Unfortunately I've recently learned that these seeds were mislabeled and do not represent Drosera lunata. Will be attempting to positively identify them in spring.
• Drosera yilgarnensis, 2/12/18, sown fall, germination in 6 weeks.
• Drosera latifolia, Itarare, Sao Paolo, Brazil, 9/13/18, listed as harvested 4/28/18, no germination

I have recently obtained two packets of Sarracenia seeds from the seed bank, both of which are currently stratifying and I will post about those when the time comes.
