ok so this is a small victory for me,
seeds from my first official vft Hybrid :)
typical / b52 , cross
so not a huge deal but pretty cool for me,
was the only two plants that flowered ,
pollinated them by hand using Qtip .

Just FYI, it cannot be considered a hybrid because both of the parents were the same species.

That’s why you could potentially make this a new cultivar instead of it being “typical x B52”.
Ex. “B51” or “Lesser Titan”

Don’t you have to go through some sort of official process to name a cultivar? You can call your plants something, but I think “cultivar” is used for plants registered with the ICPS (?) and applies only to one individual plant and clones thereof.

Yes, you do, That being said if he were to submit it, get it verified, start a little TC, selling it professionally, doing some more TC, selling some more until it’s larger companies have it available, start his own business, build his business, & hire a crew to clone for him. THEN he could have his own widely available cultivar :D
