Sarracenia stunted flower stalk

After my sarracenia woke up around April - May, it started growing a flower stalk. But about a week after it started bidding from the main point, it stopped growing. It still looks fresh and the plant is still very healthy so I haven’t cut it off.

Just asking if this is normal since it is my first flower from a sarracenia.

I have one every other year that does that. You can probably go ahead and cut it as it doesn't have enough time to bloom and set seed before it goes dormant.

Probably wouldn't hurt to leave it either. My policy is just not to mess with anything that's still alive and not diseased - Not in the least because it makes my life easier not to worry about it!
