After more experimentation, it seems like my method for small pitchers works. I need to do more testing, but the pitcher is full with no air bubbles or gaps.

just an idea :)
Already got 5 of them in the fridge in December. I can't wait to see them and it seems like a good deal too.
Mainly because I didn't have any sarracenia.

I think you can use the code 'THANKYOU' for $5 off, so you only need to pay for shipping, if the code still works :)
Dang I didn't know that before I got them.

PM me your address and I'll send you some flava seeds. Otherwise, you can buy some at https://www.etsy.com/shop/preyingplants

No need to brag there. More likely, you paid a bunch for etsy's advertising services. I also saw that you got 100% positive feedback

I would like to say that CalCarn sarrs aren't worth purchasing... My sarrs from CalCarn are 2 years older compared to my newer Sarracenia Northwest sarrs, yet they're smaller. I bought a variety of species from CalCarn, including large sized rhizomes. These competed poorly against SN's more affordable medium sized sarrs. If anyone wants to do a sarr challenge in the future, I would advise SN or something similar (Flytrap King, Jerry, etc).

Not to mention those black roots. Got some rhizomes from Michael Sprouse. Those had healthy white roots.

Is he the Ebay grower? Would you mind sharing some pics of your sarrs? I'm interested in the rhizome sizes.

He has occasional forum sales. He kindly sent me some rhizomes for free (he covered shipping). I don't think I have a pic of the rhizomes themselves, but there's this.
