Hi guys. I use Maxsea fertilizer in a week concentration for foliar feeding my flytraps.

But I'm wondering if I can use it for root feeding ? I keep my flytrap pots in about an inch and a half of water. Is it safe to add the Maxsea to the water my pots are sitting in ? Or would it burn the roots ?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I tried this, you can get away with it for awhile, but eventually it killed all the VFTs I fertilized.

from what i understand, CP roots haven't evolved for drawing in nutrients from the soil so they capture all their nitrogen needs from insects that get caught in the traps/dews/pitchers. so fertilizing the soil is not so great.
