Maybe someday.... I've still gotta read The Savage Garden first and see if it gives me the knowledge I'm looking for :).

Oblivion wrote:"the complete guide to cp's" by barry rice was one of my favourites.

i liked the savage garden, but when you see barry's book its huge with stacks of full page colour photo's, complete species list for each variety (drosera list, dionaea list, nep list etc)
I verified for this one and it seems out of print ! that'S too bad, I couldn't find even used ones :(

One of my favorite (i have a shelf full of CP books) books is
http://www.amazon.com/Carnivorous-Plant ... 0881923567
THIS man has been rather anonymously disliked by the CP community, and thought to of had been collecting wild plants for sale in his store. Read this: http://www.sarracenia.com/faq/faq6010b.html
HOWEVER! his book is THE BEST informative book on CPS as in it clearly states all growing conditions for ALL of the CPS (humidity, temp, photoperiod etc) and PROPAGATION tips (esp. nepenthes propagation tips.)
it lacks photos, so if you want to LEARN read this one!
even for expert cp growers like myself (well, i like to think myself as an expert 8-) ) it has rather interesting historical background of all CPs and it reveals growing tips not really talked about!
Hope this helps people, this book comes cheap too!
