Hey so I have just assumed that these dead parts on my plants were like normal because they all have them. It looks like if you cut a bunch of traps off and partially down the stem in one area, and it feels just like a dead part of a plant all dry and crunchy whatever.

I was trimming some dead traps off my plants just now though and I was gently pulling a piece of that spot so I could trim it, and the whole thing just came out with some dead roots. The weird thing is that I remember some of these being this way for like months. I’m not sure if I should have been doing anything to it. I got a few more ones that pulled out easily, but right after I did it I kicked myself because I wasn’t sure if I shouldn’t have messed with it and should have asked first. I got a decent amount of pictures, so I’m hoping that I can at least figure out what I should do in the future.

I actually have more, but I’m already worried that these won’t work. I can take some out if there’s trouble loading sorry.

Yeah I had these for awhile, but I was worried about clipping through them. The plant that has always been the worst has little seedlings growing out of the same area, so obviously I didn’t want to trim those.

I’m relieved that they are normal though! I think some of them were just ready to go either because they were softer from being recently tray watered or oncoming dormancy maybe or neither or both. I was just worried especially since my weather has been so nutty that I might have pulled out something that wasn’t supposed to be pulled.
