I made the mistake of buying Mosser Lee the first time I had to repot. I would avoid that brand for repotting, but if you don't have any other options, it works. Instead, I would recommend Better Grow LFSM or Gubler's LFSM from Lowe's.

Why exactly is buying mosser lee bad but okay? And is it better for seeds/pullings?

It's very low quality. If you want good stuff, buy the peat/perlite blend from flytrapstore.com.

Agreed. However, I stopped using perlite but flr those that do I have been td it ks premium stuff.
I have taken to growing my own LFSM. Large enough batches for filling my vft and drosera pots with. There's a YT video showing how to bring dry LFSM back to life. Will give that a try soon.
