I’ve seen it mentioned that spatulata blooms are only open for about an hour, and I’m wondering if this is the same for other/all sundews. I’d like to know which ones only bloom at night, and which ones have very short bloom times. So far, my natalensis and capes are the only ones I’ve actually caught blooming.

My Cape flowers typically are fully open for just a couple of hours. They don't seem to prefer day or night.

I forgot about binatas. I’ve seen them bloom too. And my lone micrantha is blooming right now. I guess I haven’t caught my tokaiensis or intermedia yet.

My capensis (all varieties), binata (all varieties), filiformis (subtropical varieties), finlaysoniana, and intermedia (temperate and subtropical) vary times, but they generally stay "open" for about a day. By open I mean I can see the interior, but fully open is only a few hours.
Capillaris is quick, probably fully open for only about an hour.
Rotundifolia hasn't bloomed yet.
Regia hasn't bloomed yet, but it's "Big Easy" and that variety rarely does.
When I had spatulata, I remember them being open during the day, and staying open most of the day. I had "Tamlin" and (Beenak).
Slackii, villosa, tomentosa, haven't bloomed yet.

My capensis and binatas stay "open" for as long as there is light outside, but they are only completely open when there is direct sunlight.
