Red spots on top of pitcher

Hi all, these spots showed up over the past 24 hours on the top of this pitcher. There are no other spots on any other places on the plant, and adjacent plants don't have them.
I've been treating all my outside plants with Capt Jack's to control the thrips problem (spraying once weekly). The sun hasn't been overly strong and daytime temps are 70s/80s. All advice appreciated!

Age spots. Or perhaps water droplets that sat on the lid when the sun was out and acted like a magnifying glass. Nothing that I would worry about. If the spots continue to spread, or if the lid starts drying up, then you need to look for another cause.

Yes, I thought about the droplets from the bug spray causing small burns - I've seen that before. It's a fairly young pitcher, maybe a month old or so. I bet you're right about the droplets thing.
