@NineLine, I hope you got a buggy environment for this tracyii!!!! I got one from Panman last fall and it's growing like crazy!!!!! I've got mine in a 7" tall "stadium" cup that is standing in about 2 inches of water and it's already poking through the 2' tall anti-squirrel cage I made last year for my plants!!! So, it's a minimum of 17-18 inches tall right now and it's *still* unfurling some of the long leaves and putting out a flush of new ones, too!!! I've gotta get a bigger cage...or start eating fired squirrel!!!!
Congratulations!!!!! :D

ETA: Oh yeah. When I got mine it had pretty much go dormant. Not a great photo, but you get the idea!!! All the growth is from this spring!!!! :D

Well, I'm not sure what to make of the number of hibernacula mentioned. @Panman, will this be four individual, separated plants or one "unit" with four growth points. I know on mine I found that there were three of what I called growth points, but I guess those were actually three hibernacula? And, each growth point/hibernacula could have been separated and individual plants grown...or, left alone to grow a large plant (as I did)? My continuing education...continues!!! :D

Whatever the case, NineLine, you got a *nice* prize there!!! ;)

^^^What you said. There are 4 dormant growth points (hibernicula) that could be separated and planted individually.

Ahhhh gotcha. Thanks for the education. I have never grown these so when you said 4 I thought it was 4 separate. Always learning here. :D
